Wheat ears Stole Pattern with Dorset Button Instructions

This is a pattern for the Wheat ears Stole and Wheat ears Shawl Pin. The stole is knitted in lace weight (2ply) yarn, Beaker Button Bountiful for the sample. For a heavier stole you could work this pattern in 4ply, or even double knit. The Dorset button shawl pin is made using a contrast 4ply thread or cotton perle.
This pattern would be suitable for someone with some lace knitting experience.
Tension: 10cm x 10cm square = 3 pattern repeats across and 2 pattern repeats up of wheat ears main pattern, size 4mm needles, yarn needle for weaving in ends, Beaker Button Lace 100g, 800m approx. For the shawl pin you will need 1 closed ring 3.5cm , approximately 3.5m of yellow cotton perle or 4ply sock yarn, blunt ended needle, bamboo marking pin or plain shawl pin, superglue.
