Mini Skein
Merino/Nylon 4ply Wool,
Beaker Button mini skeins are hand dyed by us in our studio at the Fairground Craft Centre at Weyhill. Each 85m (20g) skein is enough to make a Beaker Button necklace, knit a mini pair of socks, crochet a beautiful edge round a shawl or add a square or two to your sock wool blanket.They are 75% merino/25% nylon sock yarn, kettle dyed or hand painted using Procion dyes. Each skein will be slightly different, adding a special uniqueness to your projects. Merino/nylon sock is a lovely soft and smooth wool and the nylon in our skeins gives them good strength and wearability. As with most hand dyeing we advise washing separately the first couple of times, then they should be ok at 30 in the machine.
These skeins are made in small batches and are frequently hand dyed to order. This means that your skein may take a little longer to come. We thank you for your patience in advance. If you need your skein in a hurry it's best to contact us before you order.
We change our colours regularly and we can custom dye to order, so if there is a special project you want to make, get in touch to discuss your requirements.
